What I wore...about 2 months ago

LOL this was the last time I took a picture of my outfit...about 2 months ago before going out for a fun night with friends:



I have a feeling I won't be showing my bare legs in public for a few months...I miss the warm weather already :(

Ok, so this is what I wore yesterday to go to the park with my girl...I'm getting really lazy with taking outfit pictures, so whenever we take a picture you'll see what I was wearing :)

What I'm wearing today

Hello everyone! I'm soooo excited cause I got my Canon xti yesterday evening!!! Yay!!! I've taken soooo many pictures already, that when it was time for today's outfit picture....the battery died! NOOOO!!! So I had to rely on good old Canon Powershot (2 megapixels LOL):

I'm doing my best to wear tons of casual outfits before having to start work again. While at work we have "casual fridays"...but they're not that casual :(

Another beautiful day today, and my baby girl is feeling better, although not fully recovered. We went over to my parents' house for a family get together, and this is what I wore:

My husband took this photo (to his delight LOL) and because he's taller than I, it looks like I have short legs...which I don't :)

What I'm wearing today

The weather is crazy hot today! How hot is it, you ask? About 30 degrees! Great news, right? Not so much...my baby girl has been sick, and was getting better, but took a turn for the worse yesterday with 39 degree fever, a cough and an ear infection (poor baby!!) so I'm not even stepping outside today. I'm just going to pamper her all day, and let her do whatever she wants (except for touching the inside of the toilet, putting garbage in her mouth...you know what I mean).

So I'm wearing something simple and practical:

(I hope she gets all better real soon so we can hopefully enjoy some of the weekend outdoors with family and friends.)

What I'm wearing today

So I know it's been a while since I posted a picture of what I'm wearing. The thing is that I've had little time to do so. By the time I get everything ready to leave the house, get the baby all dressed up and looking cute, the last thing on my mind is grabbing the camera to capture what I'm wearing. Today I found some time, so here it is:



^H&M black skinny jeans, American Eagle brown leather belt, Forever21 polka dot top, my small brown Balenciaga "style" purse by Lush (I can't afford designer purses, and love the quality of Lush purses...what can I say!)

I seem to be attracted to a lot of polka dots recently, seeing that I bought 3 polka dot tops and 2 polka dot dresses in the last couple of months...it's weird because I didn't even realize it at the time, just now when I look in my closet LOL

PS - I'm working on my posing, but I always end up looking silly, so all you get is close up shots today LOL

Finally nice weather!! I would have worn my nine west gladiator sandals if I didn't have to push a stroller and walk with my baby all day, so instead I picked this comfy pair of sandals :)

To put it simply...

I've come to accept that I'm a very simple person in all aspects: I don't wear jewelry (my baby would just pull those earrings right off), don't wear much makeup, don't like diamonds, I like a clutter-free home, and I keep my personal affairs as drama-free as possible. Needless to say I also dress very simply...but I like to add a little bit of interest, like the lace trim on this striped skirt. Here's today's outfit:

I wore my new double wrap Forever21 belt today, and it totally made my outfit! I told myself I'd post a picture, yet here I am ready for sleep and no picture :(

Looks to recreate

So I've gotten rid of a few items of clothing from my closet, which to me means I'm "entitled" to some new ones (I'll never learn!!)

I'm going through some pics of outfits I like, and will try to recreate them, and post the result here. This was my first one. What do you think? (pretty boring, I know, but it can only get better...right? hehe)
